Hello, Families!

We need volunteers for our Fall Festival on October 6th. There are lots of different opportunities!

If YOU have not signed up in Membership Tool Kit, please do so TODAY!  Just follow this link and you can do it in a few minutes.  REMEMBER, this is the ONLY way to receive the electronic communications from the school PTA to know what is happening at the school!

4th and 5th grade Room Parents - Teacher Appreciation is THIS FRIDAY - Please check out and share this link to sign up to help with breakfast and lunch (providing food or participating)

One more thing...this Friday is Picture day and we could use a few hands to help - it's an easy job and gives you an opportunity to see lots of the kids!

Thanks again and have a great week (and restful break!!)

Hello, ESOL families of the Park!  We will meet our students next week and begin to work in their classrooms.  We encourage you to practice English with your child daily.  There are listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities free online using DUOLINGO, an application (app) for kids and adults.

Duolingo

Duolingo is the free science-based language education platform.

With over 100 million users, Duolingo has organically become the most popular way to learn languages online in only 2 years.

In a recent independent study, professors from the City University of New York (CUNY) and the University of South Carolina found that when using Duolingo for 34 hours, students learn the equivalent of one university semester of language instruction.
See Duolingo.com for more information.
